Creating interesting slinky courses at work

Friday at work Kent and I decided to have a little fun. Not so much that we didn’t get our work done, of course. Just enough to blow off some end-of-week steam. We realized that, with some clever positioning of drawers and placement of books, we could create ad-hoc slinky courses at our desks, without access to stairs.

We started off with a simple, six-step course:

Next we tried eight steps:

We then decided we wanted another step, and we wanted to try a not-so-fair slinky race, so we upped the ante:

Ten steps proved to be considerably more difficult. It took a few tries:

But finally we made it happen!

Now we just need to figure out whose desks we borrowed all these books from. Hope you enjoyed this little bout of nonsense!
